We’ve Moved

K and I have often talked about moving to the country. We were also hoping to do this closer to family, but as it turns out they live where land is considered gold and therefore this was not possible. When visiting (name removed ) a couple of years back, we were struck by its beauty and how nice everyone was. We love the maritime architecture with all the old farm houses (and trailers-referred to as “mini homes” :-)

When the housing market took off in Montreal, we started looking for houses. We looked online for places in (name removed) and also Belleville (this was as close as we could afford near the Toronto folks), but there was no comparison in how far our money would go out east, so we picked up and moved to (name removed). We will be trying to get our online businesses going enough for us to live comfortably. K is also thinking of running a karate school. I haven’t decided yet what I will do exactly, but it looks like I’ll be a gentleman farmer for a while. I suppose I could do some sort of computer thing (if I remember how :-) .

We now have a nice old century home on 5 acres with a barn, 1 horse, 2 peacocks and three chickens. We’ve brought our 3 dogs, 2 cats and 1 turtle with us.
