Well….. OK.

Annie arrived Friday from New Brunswick and is working her way into our heard. She is so cute and sweet that the kids can handle her on their own.

13 cords!

We burned all of the wood last year, so we bought 2 more cords this time. Now all we have to do is block it up, split it, toss it into the basement, stack it and burn it.

I tried to get a short video of Hilly rolling in her hay. She does this ever single morning when you throw it down for her, except today. Perhaps she was wondering why I was hanging about pointing this strange thing at her. but she refused to act as expected, so instead I shot Fluffy-2 with “her” chicks.

KROCK 105.5 FM….

It Ksucks and has almost the exact same play list as the Nova Scotia radio station that we already get: Big Dog 100.9 FM (they are so lame, they don’t even have a web site). Playing a bunch of old “Rock” a la CHOM’s new format which is just like going back in time 20 years to listen to crummy old rock. If you want to hear this crap, don’t fill the airways with garbage. Go out and buy the latest Time Life collection or order it off some late night infomercial! Now there are hundreds (that’s right, it is surely not thousands of people being subjected to crummy music everyday, because… Well, because KROCK is new and people are desperately hoping that something better would arrive… Sadly, it hasn’t.

Thank the gods for satellite radio and iPods!

Given that the Island’s total population is only around 150K. I figure that most of the good custom license plate possibilities are not taken.

So, I need people to post comments to this entry with suggestions. If there is a really good one, then we’ll go out and get that plate and post a picture of it here.

I saw a Bug with the plate UB6IB9, so that is taken. There are lots of ILUVPEI and similar things out there.
Our friend who runs the unicorn horse sanctuary has the plate Unicorn.

Suggestions?

We’ve been to the beach a few times this summer to swim frolic, build sand castles, etc.

And we also took a seal watching tour with visitors (K’s sister, husband and our cute little niece)
