Winter. . .
There’s not very much going on around here these days. Typical winter shut-in days are upon us. We work all the time these days. The December rush typically tends to let up in March… We were trying to plan an outing for this Saturday, but we need to find an ugly unpopular baby sitter with no social life.
We’ve put off our plans until next week-end and booked one of our socialite baby-sitters for then.
After a few days of freezing cold and then many days of snow (we received a month’s worth of snow in one week), we have had one week of warm weather and it looks like it will continue for at least a few more days. We are getting above freezing temperatures (even many of the overnight lows are above zero) and all the snow has melted away to nothing. The grass and poop is showing all over the yard and horse paddock.
Hill after breakfast: full of hay, happy and sleepy
Water barrel with the new heater I installed.
