Come From Away

On our way into town on Friday, we noticed two cruise ships in the harbour. The Norwegian Jewel was docked and a second ship, which we did not catch the name of, was manoeuvring into the dock. I’m not sure how many people can be aboard these two monsters, but if they all disembarked for a visit, I am sure there would be a noticeable increase in the town’s population.

Stepped outside this morning to grab a piece of wood from the pile that is still outside and should be in the basement and there were hundreds of birds in the tree over our deck and all the trees around our property.

should not reply to spammers

• Joe Spammer sends an email to Jill.
• Fucking Joe uses my email address as the return address (an extremely easy thing to fake).
• Jill’s moronic network admin has his spam appliance configured to reply to the spammer with some sort of “no thank you” message. Idiot!

BUT!!

• I am listed as the return contact.
• Now repeat this scenario many, many, many more times.
• My Unfortunate Little Server receives 12, 000 messages in one day! Over 20, 000 in four days!
• Think people!!
